HAEC has 4 Snyder ICU oxygen cages on site. These sophisticated cages are used for patients that require oxygen therapy in a life threatening situation. What makes these cages so special is that they are the only cages on the market that allow the veterinarian to set the cage for a specific oxygen level, temperature and humidity level and the cage will maintain it at this level. This helps in managing these oxygen dependent animals because we can control the levels of oxygen very precisely versus traditional oxygen cages.

- Congestive heart failure
- head trauma
- heat stroke
- anaphylaxis (allergic reaction)
- pneumonia
- pulmonary hypertension
- pulmonary Thromboembolism (blood clot in the lungs)
- feline asthma
- post surgical recovery
