Blood work can be very helpful to diagnose and manage the
treatment of a variety of medical conditions. Our state of
the art in house laboratory allows us to run a variety of tests
and receive results in a timely manner so that your pet’s
treatment does not have to wait.
We have the ability to check a urine sample for evidence of diabetes, infection, excessive protein loss, dehydration and
other abnormalities.
Fecal analysis can be performed to screen for intestinal parasites, infections and other causes of diarrhea.
Samples of cells from lumps or fluid can be examined under the microscope
to help facilitate a baseline diagnosis and treatment. These
samples can then be prepared and sent out to a pathologist for a
diagnosis, further recommended diagnostics, and treatment.
