Rachel Rose

Hi, my name is Rachel! I moved to Pennsylvania in 2020 after growing up in New Mexico and completing my college education in Flagstaff, Arizona, where I developed a passion for emergency medicine and critical care. I have worked in the veterinary field since high school and have held multiple roles throughout my career, giving me a well-rounded perspective on patient care and hospital operations. One of my favorite aspects of working at Hershey Animal Emergency Center is the hospital-wide commitment to patient care, staff advocacy, teamwork, education, and clear, compassionate communication with clients. I especially enjoy training and education and appreciate opportunities to share knowledge while on the floor – often with a well-timed pop quiz! Outside of work, I enjoy reading with a cup of tea, running, hiking, caring for my five dogs, camping, and traveling with my significant other.
