Guiding You Through Every Step
What to Expect During Your Pet’s Emergency Surgery
We know that surgery is stressful, not just for pets, but for their people too. That’s why we prioritize efficiency, communication, and comfort every step of the way.
Before surgery, we'll perform in-house lab work and pre-surgical assessments so that this critical information is reviewed prior to surgery, and necessary adjustments to the surgical or anesthesia plan can be taken. Our advanced surgery and anesthesia care begins even before moving your pet to the surgery suite: with pre-warming, pre-oxygenation, and pre-surgery pain relief. Once in the surgical suite, your pet will be surrounded by a dedicated team focused on their well-being. A trained veterinary technician continuously monitors anesthesia along with key vitals while maintaining closed-loop communication with the surgeon to quickly respond to unexpected changes.
